Welcome to our web site, and thank you for visiting us.   Every person needs a place along his or her spiritual journey where they can sense the presence of God, worship the loving Creator, receive spiritual strength and guidance, and belong to a supportive group of caring people. You can find such a place at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church in Sun Lakes, Arizona.  We are an exciting congregation that is full of love and life. We have outstanding worship services on Sunday mornings and Saturday evenings.  The messages will give you encouragement, and our exceptional choir program with up to 75 members will inspire you!  We have many educational opportunities.  We have Church School and evening Bible classes.  We have a variety of fellowship and support groups.  Our Stephen Ministers and Parish Nurse are there to help the members and friends.  We are very involved in mission work such as serving meals at the New Day Homeless Shelter, assisting three hurricane damaged Churches down in Louisiana, and sponsoring the education of disadvantaged students. We the members and friends of Sun Lakes UMC have been touched by the love of God and have found in our Church a warm and welcoming fellowship.   We are located just twenty-five miles south of Phoenix, Arizona, and two miles off Interstate 10 to the east.  Whether you live in the area or are just traveling our way, we invite you to worship with us.  And if you do live in Sun Lakes or a neighboring community, we invite you to be a part of our caring fellowship.
