The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation invites members of the Sun Lakes United Methodist Church to their annual Vesper Services on Friday, July 11, 2008.  There will be a Shabbat Dinner preceding the services at 5:30 p.m. in the Arizona Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club at a cost of $13.00 per person for the dinner.  Reservations can be made by mailing your check, including your name and phone number, before Monday, June 30, to Ellie Trachtenberg at 10401 E. Chestnut Dr., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248, or you may call her at 883-9070.  The Methodist-Jewish Dialogue group wishes to encourage members of our congregation to attend.  If you want to attend services only, they are at 7:30 p.m. in the All Faiths Chapel and all are welcome.

It is the old apple trees that are decked with the
loveliest blossoms.
It is the ancient red woods that rise to majestic  heights.
It is the old violins that produce the richest tones.
It is the old wine that tastes the sweetest.
It is the ancient coins and stamps that people seek.
It is old friends that are loved the best.
Thank God for the blessings of age and the wisdom,   patience and maturity that go with it.
