At Sun Lakes United Methodist Church we host events that reach out to the surrounding community.
In the fall we host a community event and invite our neighbors to find out what we are all about. All the groups of SLUMC offer information about our various activities which could keep you busy during the week.

If you enjoy crafts of different types, then our Krafters will keep you busy all year! They are constantly coming up with projects to get ready for their Holiday Bazaar in November. They meet on Monday afternoons in their wonderfully organized craft room in the basement of our Education Building. They make items for the bazaar, working on them from home or in the craft room.
We also have a Singles Group who explore places together, a fitness class schedule with something for everyone, a men’s group who get together for coffee and fellowship, a very active United Methodist Women’s group who have numerous events year-round, and an Education team that is always looking for new people to add to the interesting educational opportunities our church offers. Our dinner groups are very popular, and our Stephen Ministry program is exceptional, if you have an interest in helping others.
