Pre-pandemic Worship Times:

Sundays – October through April at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary; Adult Sunday School with Dr. Julian Pickens at 9:45 a.m.

Sundays  –  May through October at 9:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary;
Adult Sunday School with Dr. Julian Pickens at 10:20 a.m.

From October 13 through April, we offer two Worship Services on Sunday mornings:  8:30 a.m. for the early risers, with a full choir in attendance and at 10 a.m. with the choir present during half of the service. Both services are usually given by our Senior Pastor, Rev. Marvin Arnpriester, in the Sanctuary.

From May through October, Sun Lakes United Methodist Church offers one Worship Service at 9:00 a.m., usually given by our Senior Pastor, Rev. Marvin Arnpriester, in the Sanctuary.

Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.

Since we have many “Snowbirds” in attendance at Sun Lakes (people who are in Arizona for the winter months), our numbers go down during the summer months. We have a “Summer Choir” where the choir is smaller in number and the anthems are less difficult, and there are opportunities for choir members to provide solos and special music.

On Saturdays we have a more relaxed Worship Service at 4 p.m., given by Rev. Arnpriester.  This service is given in the Chapel and does not have a choir, but it does have soloists, song leaders and special music to enhance the worship time.

Please join us at one of our Worship Services where we will have greeters to welcome you.  We would love to have the opportunity to show you around our beautiful campus.
